Fun, Beautiful, and Amazing Amsterdam

Have you ever been to Amsterdam? Well, if you haven't, YOU SHOULD. It is such an amazing little city and it is beautiful. Did you know that Amsterdam has more canals than Venice, Italy? They also have pretty much anything else you could want. The food is amazing and diverse, with chocolate and waffles all over the place. The also have these great fries with different dipping sauces which are perfect when you're hungry.

On my first trip, I was surprised at how epically awesome the architecture was. I mean almost every building was just incredible.

Besides that there are trams and buses zig zagging through the cobble stone streets, and people from all over the world walking around enjoying themselves. Check out some of the pics from our last trip to this great place!

Most Influential Cities in the World

Forbes magazine recently announced the world's most influential cities. Topping the list was London, followed by New York and then Paris. They graded 58 leading metropolitan areas in eight categories: the amount of foreign direct investment they have attracted; the concentration of corporate  headquarters; how many particular business niches they dominate; air connectivity (ease of travel to other global cities); strength of producer services; financial services; technology and media power; and racial diversity.

It's interesting to see what makes a city influential these days, as it is much more based around inter-connectivity, trade, and business.  The top three cities are all extremely intricate places that have been around for hundreds of years. In addition, they all have excellent transportation systems that make it easy for citizens to stay connected regardless of how much money they have. It's interesting to see that this in turn helps the city become globally connected as well.

Here are a few pictures of the amazing cities that make up the top 3 most influential cities.
